He’s Clearing the Crappola

We’re coming down to the wire, and you’re about to miss out on the BIG event.

Here’s an individual who “gets it”.

Welcome to the club.

None of us have “enough” time, myself included.

As entrepreneurs, we always have more on our plate than anyone else.

And, if we’re an entrepreneur that’s working a job as well, this is doubly true.

Several years ago I made a major discovery, and I believe I’ve shared it with you before, but since it’s so important to this discussion, I’m going to share it with you again.

As entrepreneurs, we’re constantly in a state of chaos. It’s seems as though we’ve got a million things going at once, and we’ll never get to all of them.

The secret to dealing with this, and managing the chaos, is to understand that there will NEVER be enough time to do everything you want to accomplish.

We must decide what’s most important to us, or what excites us most, and make these our top priority.

We then put everything else on hold, until we can decide whether it really deserves our attention.

By doing so, we’re able to take the stress off, and concentrate on what we REALLY want to do.

6. You’re concerned about the investment

I understand where you’re coming from, as I’ve been there myself many times.

Together we’ll help you come up with a winning idea.

Heck, I’ve got plenty of product ideas that I’ve been wanting to do myself, but don’t have the time to take advantage of.

8. You can’t settle on a single idea

That’s the great thing about the information marketing business. You don’t have to settle on a single idea.

All you have to do is choose one to start with (which I’ll certainly help you with).

You then create your first information product (in 60 minutes or less), which I’ll also help you with.

Then…

Once you’re making money with your first idea, and you feel like you want to do something else.

I’m constantly coming up with new ideas, and while I cant take action on all of them, I do take action on a pretty good share of them.

But…

What I DON”T do – is try and stop the flow of ideas.

I want as many as I possible can.

And when I get em, I write em down.

That way, I always have a list of potential ideas that could make me a whole lotta cashola.

All I have to do now is chose the one I’m most excited about.

9. You have a product idea, or even a product, but don’t know if it will sell

Congratulations.

The fact that you’ve got a product idea, or a product already created – is fantastic.

I’ll be showing you how to determine the sale-ability of your idea or product.

If it’s not sale-able in it’s current form, I’ll show you how to make slight tweaks to it, so that it WILL be.

We won’t be starting from scratch here – just making modifications.

We’ll also be looking at different niches as well.

I’m currently making adjustments to the Automatic Income System so I can offer it to different niches of people – who will gladly pay me 3 times as much as I’ve been asking for it.

You’ll be able to look over my shoulder in the coming months and see how I do this.

Once you know how to do it for yourself, you can take a single product, make small modifications, and offer it to MANY different niches.

I have to say, you’re giving me a whole lot more credit than I deserve.

I actually shudder when I think about it.

Why?

Because it sounds terrible.

I stammered and stuttered through the entire recording.

But guess what, nobody cared. And yes, the product still sold, and continues to sell to this day.

I’ve thought about re-recording it, but just haven’t got around to doing so.

It’s just one of those things that’s not at the top of my priority list.

To this day, I still tend to be hard on myself, and over-analyze things. And I don’t like listening to the sound of my own voice.

I do like the cashola that I get from offering people my products, so I’ve learned to live with it.

Lisa is pregnant – YAY

Talk about good news.

We recently found out that Lisa is pregnant, and it looks like we’ll be having a new member of our family sometime in April.

We actually found out several weeks ago, but I put of sharing the good new with you for awhile.

You see – Lisa and I have been trying to have a baby for the last four years.

She’s been pregnant three times, and she’s miscarried all three babies.

As you can imagine, this has been a roller coaster ride for Lisa and I, but it’s obviously MUCH more difficult on her.

I don’t really think that a man can fully understand what a woman goes through when she has a miscarriage.

For the last year we’ve been working hard, trying to get pregnant again.

Well – maybe the work wasn’t that hard.

Actually, it’s work that I really enjoy – if you know what I mean.

It looks like we were finally successful – and get this – while we were on our Maui vacation in mid-July.

Now keep in mind, since we’ve already had three miscarriages, Lisa is still a little bit nervous.

But – for some reason, I think we’re going to have a baby this time.

I don’t know what it is, but I just feel it in my heart.

Be sure to keep us in your thoughts, and prayers.

As I look at what Lisa and I have gone through in trying to have this baby, it causes me to think back on the struggles I had in my business along the way.

There were many challenges and setbacks that I had to overcome.

And yes, there was a fair amount of times when I thought about giving up.

Fortunately I didn’t act on those thoughts.

To this day, I still think about the comment one of my good friends made to me, all the way back in 1997.

“Kevin, you can’t lose if you don’t give up. The only way you can lose in the game of business, is if you decide to quit. As long as you don’t quit, you WILL win”.

And let me tell you, he was RIGHT.

You might be going through some struggles of your own right now.

You might even have thought of giving up.

All I can say is – DON’T DO IT.

Don’t give up.

Don’t quit.

You may be standing on the one yard line, ready to score a touchdown at this very moment, and if you gave up now, everything you’ve done to get you to this point would be for nothing.

Keep going, and as you do, remember that I’m right here beside you.

Lisa and I are going to have THIS baby.

We’re not giving up either.

The First Day Of…

Yesterday was our youngest daughter’s first day of high school, and talk about an emotional experience.

Not so much for me, or our daughter Kaitlynn – but for my wife Lisa.

You see, in our small town, the first day of school is a little different.

The first day of high school here in Arlington, Washington is solely for the incoming Freshmen.

This gives the new students a chance to get acclimated to their new surroundings, without having to be completely immersed all at once.

But, here’s where the “emotional” part comes into play for Lisa.

As we drop Kaitlynn off at school yesterday morning, there’s about 150 Sophomores there to welcome them.

Many of them are holding banners that say things like, “Yeah Freshmen”.

The rest of the Sophomores were paired up in two’s and had formed a long bridge by holding hands overhead – so they could welcome the new Freshman.

As we pull up to the entrance of the school, and Kaitlynn sees the festivities, she gives mom a quick peck on the cheek, says “See you tonight”, then races out the door to begin her first day of high school.

As I sit there thinking to myself, “this is pretty awesome”, I glance over at Lisa and see that she’s got tears streaming down her face.

As she wipes them away, she says, “I can’t believe my little baby is already in high school. Before you know it, she’s going to be graduated and out of the house. Time sure does go by fast”.

I had to sympathize with her – because she’s right.

Every day I give thanks for all the good things in my life.

Things like:

Being able to take my daughter to school.

Being at the house when she gets home from school.

Being able to spend quality time with all 4 of our kids (and the 5th one that will be joining us in April).

Getting paid for something I LOVE to do.

The fact is, life goes by entirely too fast. Before you know it, most folks are looking back on things, wishing that they would have done things differently.

Wishing that they wouldn’t have spent so much time at work.

Wishing they’d spent more time with family and friends.

Wishing they’d taken advantage of opportunities that had come their way in the past.

Fortunately, it doesn’t have to be this way – and I’m living proof.

And here’s the real kicker…

I don’t have ANY special talents or abilities.

In fact, if anything, I’m considered to be at a disadvantage by many folks.

I didn’t go to college, don’t have any formal business training, don’t know how to balance a checkbook – heck, there’s a lot of things I don’t know how to do.

But none of that matters.

Why?

Because the one thing I do have is the fact that I’m decisive in nature.

Napoleon Hill talks about this in his book, Think And Grow Rich.

After interviewing many successful entrepreneurs and business people while researching this book, he discovered that the one trait they all had in common was the fact that they were – decisive in nature.

Since reading that book, I made the decision to take on this trait in my own life, and let me tell you, it sure has paid off – BIG time.

So let me ask you, are you decisive in nature?

If not, you’re standing in your own way.

Stupid Criminals

Not too long ago I was at a seminar where Dan Kennedy told a VERY interesting story about how stupid criminals can be.

You see, most criminals will take entirely too much risk during the course of their unlawful acts.

Here’s a perfect example of what I’m talking about.

Joe Mook and his buddy decide that they need some extra cash for the evening.

So, without much planning or thought, they hop into their car and drive down to the local convenience store so they can rob it.

Now…

Here’s what’s stupid about this:

1. The convenience store ain’t gonna have that much cash on hand.

2. There’s gonna be someone at the store who will hinder their criminal intentions.

3. That someone is probably gonna be armed with some type of weapon.

4. That someone will also trigger a silent alarm to alert the police.

5. There are probably cameras in place that will record their every move to video.

In short, the risk for these stupid criminals is VERY high, and the likelihood of them getting away with their crime is slim-to-none.

If they were smart criminals, they’d do things a little bit differently.

They’d stake out a nice home in a high end neighborhood, preferably where the houses were on large lots (so there’s not any close neighbors).

They’d wait until the homeowner was out of town on vacation.

They’d enter the home while no one was there.

They’d have access to merchandise that was actually worth some cashola.

So…

Why don’t more criminals get smart, instead of stacking the odds against themselves, and playing such a high risk game?

That’s a good question, and quite honestly, I don’t have an answer.

But, I can tell you this:

When it comes to business, most entrepreneurs take the same attitude, and while they don’t do so intentionally, the result is the same.

They stack the odds against themselves and take entirely too much unnecessary risk.

Then – when things don’t work out like they’d hoped, they’re left wondering, “What happened”.

I’m here to tell you that owning a profitable business isn’t any big secret.

All you gotta do is follow the lead of someone who’s already accomplished what you want to do.

Anything, and I mean ANYTHING can be taught.

None of us were born with specialized business knowledge.

No siree.

This knowledge was handed down to us by someone else.
