Your Higher Power

Friday, January 30th, 2009

Yesterday, at 8:21am, I received the most powerful email I’ve ever red.

It came from my good friend, and mentor, Mr. Matt Furey.

If you’re one of his subscribers as well, you probably know what I’m talking about.

Hopefully you didn’t delete it from your inbox.

It was titled, “Religion and Politics”.

In this email, Matt was talking about everything that our politicians have been up to lately, and how they’ve been printing mon-ey like crazy for all these bailouts.

They’re doing it at our expense.

Makes it kind of hard to put much faith in our politicians – doesn’t it.

Fortunately, that’s not where I place my faith.

In fact, I quit doing that back in 1996.

That was the year that I began taking matters into my own hands.

That also happens to be the year that I started my first business.

Yes, once I made the decision to become an entrepreneur, I began going down a different path.

A path that very few people travel.

And make no mistake, it’s no accident that people who travel this path are some of the most successful and content people in the world.

By successful, I’m not necessarily talking about income – though that IS important.

What I’m talking about is something quite different.

I’m talking about living life on our own terms, and loving every minute of it.

Being at complete peace with ourselves, and those around us.

Having a strong desire to make a lasting impact on other people’s lives.

Sleeping like a baby at night, knowing that you and your family are provided for.

WHOA there Nellie.

I just got through talking about the bailout mess, and how I don’t have much faith in our politicians.

I shift gears, and start talking about how GREAT things are in “my world”.

So let me explain.

My faith is placed in myself, and ultimately in my creator.

Now, if you’re not religious, stay with me here.

You can call it what you choose – the infinite, the cosmos, whatever.

When we place our faith in this higher power, the same power that causes the sun to rise each day, the grass to grow, the ocean tides to rise and fall – the same power that keeps this earth spinning on its axis – something amazing happens.

When you do this, you’re tapped into an incredible source of energy.

A source that is UNSTOPPABLE.

And let me tell you, I much prefer to rely on THIS source for everything good in my life.

The other day, I mentioned Michael Phelps book.

It’s called “No Limits”.

In this book he talks about his own experiences of being tapped into a higher power.

He’s been tapped into this higher power since he was a child.

No wonder he won 8 gold medals at the Olympics last year.

If you haven’t yet red his book, I suggest getting a copy ASAP.

Oh, and one more thing…

Be sure to keep an eye out for my BIG ANNOUNCEMENT on Monday morning.

This will be something that you won’t want to miss.

Walt Painter Has Passed Away

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

It is with great sadness that I send you this letter.

I received a phone call from Walt Painter’s wife last night, telling me that the cancer took its toll, and he has passed away.

As you know, Walt has been a client for several years, and he was also the person responsible for setting up many of your websites.

I have become close friends with Walt over the years, and I know many of you have as well.

Please join with me in keeping Walt’s family in your prayers.

If you’d like, you may send condolences to his family via email to

You may not get a response, as they’re going through a very difficult time right now, but I know they’d appreciate hearing from you.

Knowing that Walt had been diagnosed with cancer, many of you have been asking me how to get your website set up.

I’ve already taken care of this, and have hired Vincent Zontini to be your new direct response website designer.

If you are a new client, you’ll want to contact Vincent through his website at

If you’re an existing client (who previously had a website with Walt), you’ll need to contact Vincent directly by sending him an email at

He’ll then take care of you, and make the transition as smooth as silk.

Here’s the good news in all this:

As an added bonus, Vincent will be tying all of your websites into the 1ShoppingCart software.

As you know, I’ve been using this software since I started my first online business, and have been amazed at everything it does for us online entrepreneurs.

You’ve most likely heard me talk about this on previous coaching calls, and those of you already using it can attest to its many benefits.

Now that we’ll all be using the same software, it will allow me to offer you additional coaching and training on how to make maximum use of this incredible tool.

I can’t tell you how excited I am about this.

During my Ultimate Home Office Field Trip last November, I took everyone in attendance on a behind the scenes tour of my business, and let me tell you, once we got into the 1ShoppingCart software – they were completely BLOWN AWAY.

With that said, I look forward to introducing you to Vincent, so we can take your business to even higher levels.

Dedicated to your success,
Kevin Thompson

P.S. Once again, please send your condolences to Walt’s family by emailing

Still Buzzing

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

I’m still buzzing with energy, after attending Matt Furey’s Mastermind Meeting in Tampa last week.

I’ve been a member of his Mastermind Group since 2004, and I can tell you, this was by far, the best meeting yet.

That’s partly due to the fact that I upgraded this year, and joined his Psycho-Cybernetics Coaching Group as well.

You heard me right, I upgraded, and now I’m investing even MORE m-oney with Matt each month.

Because every doll-ar I invest comes back to me in multiples.

I know, I know.

You’re probably thinking to yourself, “What, are you kidding me. With everything that’s going on in the economy, how could you spend even more”?

Before I answer that question, I need to make one thing clear, I’m not spending… I’m investing.

And I’m making the best investment I could ever make.

I’m investing in MYSELF.

I’ve been doing this for years, and it’s ALWAYS paid off.

With Matt, the investment is what many folks would consider quite large, but like I said, it always pays off.

Since I’ve been getting Matt’s help…

My self confidence has grown dramatically.

My ability to attract wealth has improved to the point that I can literally create income at will – on demand.

The relationships I have with my wife, children, family, friends and business associates is better than I could ever imagine.

All because I choose to invest in MYSELF.

I truly am blessed.

Not only for all the good things in my own life, but because I’m able to pay it forward, by sharing what I’ve discovered with you.

2008 was a banner year for every one of my clients who took action on all that was given them, and 2009 will be even better – in spite of what we hear in the media.

In fact, I’m already getting reports from clients, telling me that they’re breaking records this year, and we haven’t even reached the end of January.

With that said, you’ll want to keep a close eye out for the email I’ll be sending you on Monday morning.

I’m going to be making a MAJOR announcement.

And if you’re committed to making 2009 your best year EVER…

This is an announcement you can’t afford to miss.

Kevin Thompson

Michael Phelps Imagination

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

Two days ago, on the lunch break at Matt Furey’s Mastermind Meeting, I raced to the bookstore to pick up a copy of Michael Phelps book – No Limits.

I’m already half way through it, and I can honestly say, this is the best book I’ve ever read.

Hands down.

After winning eight gold medals at the Beijing Olympics, when asked the secret to his success, Michael immediately responded by saying that he owed it all to his imagination.

Upon hearing this, most people wouldn’t pick up on the importance of his statement.

Yet the fact is – imagination is EVBERYTHING.

And it’s precisely what led to the 8 gold medals Michael won at the 2008 Olympics.

For the last several years, I too have made incredible use of my imagination, and like Michael, it’s been the secret to my success.

Truth is, our imagination is more important than anything else.

It’s more important than what we hear in the media.

It’s more important than what’s going on in the economy.

It’s more important than anything in our outside world.

If you’re ready to put YOUR imagination to work for YOU…

If you’re ready to have incredible success in YOUR life…

If you’re ready to make 2009 your best year ever…

Then go here now, and join me for the special training seminar I’m hosting tomorrow

I look forward to speaking with you then.

Dedicated to your success,
Kevin Thompson

P.S. Don’t miss out on this opportunity – the opportunity to make 2009 your best year… EVER

Will Smith’s Secret To Success

Tuesday, January 20th, 2009

About a month ago, Barbara Walters hosted her interview with the top 10 people of 2008.

One of those interviews was with none other than Will Smith, and during that interview, she asked Will, “What’s your secret to having such a long marriage with your wife”?

When I heard his answer, it made complete sense to me.

In fact, as soon as I heard it, I immediately wondered why more couples didn’t make use of this secret.

His answer…

Divorce is NOT an option.

He then went on to explain that from the time he and his wife decided to get married, both of them agreed that divorce was not an option.

Far too many couples get married with the understanding that, if things don’t work out, we’ll simply get divorced.

As I listened to Will Smith talk about this, it made me think about my attitude towards business, which is very similar.

I’ve always believed that when it comes to business, failure is not an option.

From the day I opened the doors on my first business, back in 1996, I was committed to making it succeed.

I was committed to finding the resources, tools and people who could help me become successful in business.

And make no mistake about it, that attitude is what’s directly responsible for the success I’m having today.

It’s not that I’m that smart of a guy.

In fact, I can’t even remember the last time I came up with an original idea.

But, at least I was smart enough to seek out other people, who are smarter than me, and rely on them to help me grow my business and achieve my goals.

As in our marriage example, far too many people go into business, thinking that if things don’t work out, I’ll just find something else to do.

They think to themselves, “I’ll give this a try, but if I can’t make a go of it, I’ll just go back to what I was doing before”.

They refuse to make a commitment to themselves.

And let me tell you, if you’re the kind of person who can’t even make a commitment to yourself, you don’t have what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur.

I know that might sound a little harsh, but it’s the absolute truth.

So let me ask you…

Are you committed to yourself?

Are you committed to finding the resources, tools and people who will help you become successful in business?

Are you committed to doing whatever it takes so you can provide for your family in the way that they deserve to be provided for?

If you answered yes to these three questions, then I applaud you, because you’re in the right place.

2009 is going to be a great year.

Many members are already reporting incredible results, and we’re not even through the first month of the year.

Next month, on Tuesday – February 10th, I’ll be introducing you to one such individual.

This particular individual has been having incredible success already, and he’s going to show you how he made it happen.

More importantly, he’s going to show you how you can easily do the same thing that he’s done.

Mark your calendar for 5pm Pacific time (8pm Eastern time) on Tuesday – February 10th.

As we get closer to this date, I’ll give you all the details as soon as we’ve got them worked out.

But for now, if you’re committed to your success, you’ll want to mark your calendar and set the time aside so you can join us.

Dedicated to your success,
Kevin Thompson

Do Not Bend – Photos Enclosed

Wednesday, January 7th, 2009

Over the last few days I’ve been reading a book called “The Outliers”, by Malcolm Gladwell.

And I’ve got to say. This is one heck of an interesting book.

It was sent to me as a Christmas gift by my good friend and mentor, Mr. Joe Polish – and for good reason.

Joe doesn’t send books to people haphazardly.

When Joe sends a book, it’s because he’s already read it, and he strongly believes that you need to red it as well.

In “The Outliers”, Malcolm blows away every theory under the sun as to what makes some people successful, and other people unsuccessful.

I won’t ruin it here by telling you everything he talks about, but suffice it to say, he brings up some VERY interesting points.

The biggest one that grabbed me by the throat is the fact that successful people have a slight edge over those who are not successful.

This slight edge could come from parents, teachers, friends, acquaintances, mentors or other sources.

But the fact is, without this slight edge, you will NEVER be successful – in anything that you undertake.

For me, I did get a lot of support from my parents growing up, but I can tell you that they did not give me the slight edge that we’re talking about here.

I can also tell you that my slight edge did NOT come from any of my teachers or friends either.

For me, this slight edge came from my mentors.

Mentors like Joe Polish, Matt Furey, Michael Cage and Dan Kennedy.

And as a result of what they’ve taught me (and the amount of money their advice has made me), I too have become a mentor to many people and am able to pay it forward.

I too have given many others the slight edge they needed to become successful.

I too have had a hand in changing other people’s lives for the better.

And let me tell you, it’s an awesome feeling.

And now, I also have the opportunity to give this slight edge to my son Brock.

And though he’s only 8 months old, I’m already thinking about how I’m going to make it happen.

I’m not going to simply hand him everything on a silver platter.

Instead, I’m going to share my knowledge with him, so that when the time comes, he’ll be prepared to make his own way in this world, and do so VERY successfully.

And yes, you owe it to yourself, and your family to do the same thing.

I just uploaded 5 photos of Brock to my Facebook and you’ll find them here

As you’ll see, Brock’s getting an early start.

You might think these photos are humorous, and they are, but make no doubt about it, he’s already getting the slight edge we’ve been talking about.

And this is just the beginning.

Like father – like son.

Enjoy the photos.

Once again, you’ll find them here

Dedicated to your success,
Kevin Thompson

Inside Secrets From The King IRS Rat

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009

Sandy Botkin used to work for the IRS.

In fact, he used to be the “Head Auditor”.

The guy in charge of training all the other auditors.

In Sandy’s own words, he says, “I used to be the King Rat”.

During that time, he found that FAR too many people were seriously overpaying on their taxes.

And the reason…

They were scared to take deductions that were rightfully theirs.

That’s right, most people wouldn’t take deductions that the IRS would gladly let them have, simply because they were scared of being audited.

Sandy knew something had to be done to help average people like you and I, by showing us how to claim ALL the deductions we’re entitled to, while simultaneously making our tax returns “audit-proof”.

Over the course of the last several years, Sandy has now helped more than 50,000 tax payers save millions and millions on their taxes.

And now…

He’s going to help you too.

Go here to get all the details

I can’t wait to introduce you to Sandy Botkin on January 15th at 3pm Pacific time (6pm Eastern time).

Dedicated to your success,
Kevin Thompson

P.S. This event would normally be reserved only for my coaching clients, but I want you to accept this as my special gift to you
