Yesterday afternoon Lisa and I were shopping at Costco, and she proved me wrong again.
It’s starting to get pretty warm around here.
In fact, we hit 90 degrees yesterday, which is pretty uncommon for this time of year in Seattle.
Anyways, we were looking at these fancy-schmancy tower fans, that even came with a remote.
My comment to her was, “Those things probably aren’t any good, we should just get a regular fan”.
But she insisted, so I reluctantly agreed to buy one so we could try it out.
After getting home, unpacking the fan and turning it on, I discovered that I was wrong… again.
And let me tell you, this kind of thing happens on a regular basis.
It wasn’t he first time that Lisa proved me wrong, and it certainly won’t be the last.
Long story short, we were back at Costco last night, picking up several more tower fans.
The big lesson here is that we’ve got to be open to suggestion.
To new ideas.
To new ways of doing things.
Last week when I was in Salt Lake City visiting my friend Garrett Gunderson, he told me about a ton of wealth building and business strategies I’d never heard of before.
My eyes were opened to a whole new world, and as a result, I decided to hire his services.
Here’s what’s interesting about this.
Most people who’ve been in business as long as I have would NOT be open to learning new things.
Instead, they mistakenly believe that they already know everything there is to know.
And what a mistake that is.
By thinking this way, they seriously handicap themselves.
While they struggle to get by with their limited knowledge, people like you and I continue to seek out new sources of information, looking for that slight edge.
In the process, we’re steadily taking the lead, and before you know it, we’ve left our competitors in the dust.
So go ahead and feel superior for being one of my subscribers.
For continually increasing your knowledge.
For wanting more out of life.
You’re in good company.
Dedicated to your success,
Kevin Thompson
