You Want More Of This…

Friday, July 24th, 2009

The suspense is eating me alive!

I was gonna keep you waiting all weekend but can’t contain my excitement. I’ve gotta “spill the beans.”

As you know, this weekend is our son Adam’s big day.

He’s getting married on Sunday.

That means we’ve got plenty of reason to celebrate in the Thompson household.

But…

Come Monday, YOU’RE going to have plenty of reason to celebrate.

Here’s the deal.

If you’re looking for a simple way to add additional income for you and your family, you won’t want to miss this.

My friend Jeff has been teaching many people I know how to create additional cashflow with minimal startup costs.

That’s him, with his wife and five boys in the photo above.

To be honest, I didn’t even know that such a powerful strategy existed until I met Jeff in Matt Furey’s Mastermind Group a few years back.

As we became friends, I’ve watched his business flourish.

I hadn’t spoke with him in awhile, so it was really cool to get a phone call from him the other day.

When we got through catching up, I asked him how things had been going since we last talked, and was AMAZED by what he told me.

And let me tell you, I’ve been doing what I do for a long time now.

So it’s not often that people are able to amaze me like Jeff did.

The really cool thing is that Jeff is just like me.

He actually does what he teaches.

And no, in case you’re wondering, he’s not an internet marketer.

Normally people with such valuable knowledge, hoard it to themselves.

But Jeff is different.

He’s passionate about helping others see real results and make good money.

So I worked out a deal with him… just for you.

Let’s face it – the more sources of income you have, the greater your wealth.

Especially in these crazy economic times.

And here’s the BEST news:

This Monday, he’s going to release his $1,000.00 training course to you for FREE, just for trying his membership site for one month.

So trust me, you don’t want to miss this.

Ok, I’m outa here. I’ve got a wedding to get ready for and I’m off to pick up my tux. Have a great weekend and I’ll see you on Monday.

Dedicated to your success,

Doing What You Love

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009

Talk about having a job where you get paid for doing what you love.

This lady and her husband get to spend their time traveling the country, doing what they love, and getting paid for it.

And just in case you’re thinking, “Oh, I could never do something like that”, I happen to know that up until 9 years ago, they had NEVER done this before.

In fact, the lady of the husband wife team had absolutely NO previous experience at this.

But…

Once she was exposed to it, she LOVED it.

She was hooked.

And now, she and her husband have turned this passion into their life’s work.

Now, I’m not suggesting that you do what they do, but I AM suggesting that it’s high time you start getting paid for doing something you love.

Yesterday I shared a video with you and gave you yet another example of a local business owner in my area who’s doing some incredible things.

Funny thing is, every other business that was ever in this location has failed miserably.

Yet this guy is doing what none of them could accomplish.

He’s running a booming business and making a huge profit.

So how can that be?

How can this guy’s business be doing so well, when everyone else who came before him did so poorly?

Well, there’s two reasons:

1. He loves doing what he does.

2. He understands the importance of good marketing.

If you watched yesterday’s video, you saw his incredible marketing in action.

You saw him take a situation and leverage it to his benefit.

You saw him packing in the people, and having fun in the process.

Most people get into business solely to make a buck. That’s their driving motivation.

Now don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with making money.

Making money, and lots of it is a VERY good thing.

But… if that’s your sole driving motivation, you’re doomed to failure from the beginning.

If you truly want to be successful in what you do, it’s critical that you LOVE what you’re doing.

For example:

There are plenty of people in the “how to make money on the internet” and “how to have an online business” niches, which are the niches people mistakenly think I’m in.

That being the case, I have plenty of competition.

And those who don’t take the time to read my emails, view my blog posts, participate on my training seminars and get to know me – mistakenly assume that I’m just like everyone else.

But, if you’re reading this right now, you know that’s not true at all.

You know that I’m COMPLETELY UNLIKE anyone else.

Far beyond having an online business, I show you how to have a business that pays you for doing what you love.

A business that allows you to have a positive impact on other people’s lives by providing them with something of true value.

A business that provides for, and fits into the lifestyle you really want to live.

That’s what separates me from all of my competition.

That’s what attracts people to me.

That’s why people refer their friends and family to me.

Isn’t it about time you start getting paid for doing something you love?

Because I’ve got to be honest here, life is FAR too short to waste time (and go broke) doing something you hate.

Dog Fight Over My Home

Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009

On Friday – July 10th, I was minding my own business here in my home office, having some phone consultations with a few clients, when all of a sudden I hear this loud noise outside.

I wanted to get up immediately and find out what was going on, but had to wait until I got off the phone.

Meanwhile, I tried to ignore it as best as I could.

As soon as I hung up with my client, who happened to be Lon Kessler in this case, I went outside to see what in the heck was going on.

As a side note, if you’re reading this Lon, I’m REALLY looking forward to having another consult with you and your wife, so we can continue talking about your project.

When I went to the back yard, I discovered what all the noise was.

It was a group of 8 airplanes, doing air acrobats over our home.

Now, we only live about 5 miles from the airport, and we regularly have planes flying over our home, but this was a first.

Until this day, we’d never seen anything like this.

As Lisa watched them perform, I asked out loud, “I wonder what’s going on. Why are all these planes flying around over our home”?

That’s when Lisa reminded me that this was the weekend of the big air show.

Once a year, our local airport hosts a big 5-day event called the “fly-in”, where flying enthusiasts from around the Northwest gather for an extended weekend.

The weekend also includes a big air show that features some pretty amazing aerial acrobats.

These 8 planes, flying over my home, were obviously here for the “fly-in”.

That afternoon, I decided to head over to the airport, and get take a peek at what was going on.

Imagine my surprise when I got there, and discovered what I just shared with you in the video above.

Dedicated to your success,

P.S. Oh, and in case you’re wondering, my brother-in-law went to the air show that Saturday, and I’ll be back soon with another valuable lesson from our adventures.

If you haven’t yet picked up your copy of Leslie Householder’s book, get it right now by Going Here.

You’d be crazy to miss out on this, especially since she’s giving it to you – at NO charge.

I just got an email from Betsy.

She picked up the book last Friday, and here’s what she had to say about it:

Hi Kevin,

I’m SO glad you sent me this email today.

I’ve just read the whole book.

It’s an exact account of what’s been going on with me.

It served to help me understand it better and to be less afraid.

I’ve already written down some goals, using as I understand this so far, the words that work best.

But I’m going to continue working on them and also work on changing my mind when I’m so scared and panicky that I can’t concentrate on anything else.

WOW! This book is a real winner for me.

Warmest regards,
Betsy Davidson

P.S. I’ll be interviewing Leslie in August, and let me tell you, this is going to be the most unique one I’ve ever done. When you get her book, you’ll see what I’m talking about.

You’ll Never Be The Same…

Friday, July 17th, 2009

This is SO cool.

My friend Garrett recently introduced me to another home-based business owner named Leslie Householder.

And I have to say, we REALLY hit it off, right from the start.

Leslie has found an ingenious way to shave years off of the time it normally takes someone to build an income doing what you love.

After a few minutes of talking with her, I knew that she’d created something of real value, and I couldn’t wait to share it with you.

And…

I get to do it… for free-ola.

Go Here to see what I’m talking about

Rather than telling you what to do, she tricks you into adopting the winning formula while you think you’re just having fun getting lost in a story.

Her book is so good, it’s been recognized in two different national literary contests and became a best-seller right out of the chute.

By word-of-mouth, the first 500 readers turned into tens of thousands of readers in a very short period of time…

And the best part, is that TODAY you can download the entire story at no charge:

Go Check It Out Here

Most people can read it in just one sitting.

Get lost in the story of Richard and Felicity Goodman whose relationship is strained because they’re at the end of their financial rope, and find out what they do about it…

…your life will never be the same again.

I LOVED this book.

Be sure to let me know what you think of it.

Dedicated to your Success,
Kevin Thompson

P.S. I can’t say enough about this… it’s brilliant, and one of the most effective catalysts for financial breakthroughs I’ve ever seen.

P.S.S. I’ll be interviewing Leslie on Wednesday – August 12th, so You’ll also be getting a chance to meet the author in person. When you get her book, I’ll also make sure you get an advance invitation to the interview. To get your free copy, Go Here

The Bachelor Party

Thursday, July 16th, 2009

Our 2nd youngest son Adam is getting married on Sunday – July 26th.

That day also happens to be my birthday, so I’ve been teasing the kids about this, since they starting planning their wedding, over a year ago.

I told them that they need to have two gift tables at the wedding.

One for wedding gifts, and one for Kevin’s birthday gifts.

Who knows, it might be the best birthday I’ve ever had – ha, ha.

But seriously…

This isn’t about me.

Lisa and I have been busier than you can imagine, helping Adam and Teasha get ready for the big day.

And now, here it is, less than two weeks away.

This is an exciting time in their lives, and it’s going to provide them with memories that will last a lifetime.

Lisa hosted Teasha’s bridal shower at our home last Saturday, and though I didn’t stick around for it, I know the girls had a great time.

After the shower, the brides maids had rented a limo, which took them to Safeco Field in Seattle for the Mariners game.

I can’t tell you how gratifying it’s been for Lisa and I to help the kids out with their wedding.

When you look at all the planning that goes into an event like this, it can get overwhelming at times.

Fortunately, Lisa loves doing stuff like this, and the truth is, she’s had a much bigger hand in the wedding planning than I have.

But me…

That’s another story.

I’m not very good at this kind of thing, which is why I rely on Lisa so much.

And though I’m not much of a party planner, I’ve done my best (with the help of Lisa and our oldest son Jerry) and this weekend, we’ll see how our efforts unfold.

This weekend is the guys turn.

This weekend is the big bachelor party.

Come Friday morning, 11 of us guys are heading to Westport, Washington for a weekend of fun, golfing, fishing and relaxation – hopefully in the sun.

And like I said, I don’t have much experience at planning parties like this, so I’ll have to let you know how it went.

The good news is, I have no problem being outside of my comfort zone.

I have no problem trying new things.

I have no problem flying by the seat of my pants at times.

But you can be sure, things weren’t always this way for me.

I used to be one of those guys who had to have all my ducks in a row.

Before I took action on anything, I’d have to do tons of research so I could clearly see the big picture.

Problem is, this stopped me from making progress, especially when it came to business.

By learning to rely on my mentor, who knows far more than me, and trusting what they told me – I no longer needed to see the big picture.

I didn’t need to concern myself with every single detail.

All I had to do was follow their instruction, and take one step at a time.

In so doing, it freed my mind of all the details, because all I had to do was concentrate on the ONE task at hand.

As soon as I completed that task, my mentor would give me the next task.

And let me tell you, that’s when things started happening.

The business started growing like crazy.

I was able to get much more done, and get it done faster.

I was able to help MANY more people.

I had a lot more FUN.

So…

Don’t worry about having all your ducks in a row.

Don’t worry about having all the answers in advance.

All you have to do is find a mentor, do what they tell you to do, and take one step at a time.

He’s In The Traffic Flow

Wednesday, July 15th, 2009

After watching this video, it’s obvious that this guy knows how to find the traffic flow

We had some out of town friends visiting over 4th of July weekend, so we decided to do the tourist thing and show them around Seattle.

One of our stops included the famous Pike Place Market.

While there, right next to the fish counter, I notice this guy singing – while simultaneously playing his guitar, harmonica and tambourine – all at the same time.

Truth is, he was a pretty good musician.

And more importantly than that, he was a GREAT marketer, who knew the importance of putting himself right in the middle of the traffic flow.

I stood there watching him far longer than the minute I let the recorder run, and let me tell you, there were all kinds of people giving him money.

It’s safe to say that this guy was easily making 50-100 bucks an hour.

Not only that, he was having FUN doing it.

He was getting paid for doing what he loves.

So how does this apply to you?

I’ll tell you how…

Everyone knows that if you expect to make money on the internet – you need 3 things.

You need a website.

You need traffic.

And you need conversion, meaning that you need to turn that traffic into sales, into money in the bank.

Today we’re talking about the second thing… TRAFFIC.

If you’ve ever been on one of my training seminars, you’ve no doubt heard me say, “Find the traffic flow, and put your website right in the middle of it”.

Which is precisely what the guy in the video did, and it pays off very well for him.

Everybody in the internet marketing world is obsessed with getting traffic to their websites.

They want 101 ways to make it happen.

And the truth is – you don’t need 101 ways.

In my business, I only use a handful of strategies for getting traffic.

Would it surprise you to discover that the number is less than 10?

But let me tell you, I leverage those strategies to the hilt.

I use them over and over again, in as many places as I possibly can.

By doing so, I’m able to position my website right in the middle of the traffic flow.

And just like our musician, it’s incredibly profitable.

4th of July in Seattle

Tuesday, July 14th, 2009

I want to start by thanking all of you who took the time to share your feedback yesterday.

It was a humbling experience, and after reading all your comments, Lisa is excited to share with you.

Our youngest son Adam is getting married in 12 days, on July 26th – so things are a little hectic around the Thompson household right now.

But, once the wedding is behind us, Lisa has agreed to go on camera and give you some insights from her perspective.

If you didn’t yet get a chance to make your voice heard on this topic, you can do so by Clicking Here

With that said, today I’m going to share some REALLY cool photos with you.

I took and extended 5-day weekend for 4th of July this year because our friend Renee had flown in from Phoenix.

Renee is my wife Lisa’s friend since childhood, and though the two of them now live so far apart, they’ve both made a conscious effort to maintain their friendship.

Since Renee had never been to Seattle before, we decided to show her around during her 5-day visit.

On Thursday – July 2nd we took her to the San Juans, which in my opinion, is one of the most beautiful places on earth.

On Friday, we spent the day in Seattle, going to Pike Place Market and to the Space Needle.

While there, we got some incredible photos, which I’m sharing with you here.

If you’ve never been to Seattle, these photos will certainly motivate you to come visit our beautiful city.

If you’re not scared of heights, I would definitely recommend going to the top of the Space Needle.

The view is breath taking.

As you can see from the photo I took of my Hummer, sitting in the parking lot below (I circled it in yellow), it’s quite a ways up.

I also got a great video of the elevator ride up the Space Needle.

If you’d like to see it, just let me know by posting a comment below, and I’ll be happy to share it with you.

Oh, and one more thing.

I got an email from someone yesterday, asking me how in the heck I make so much money online when I don’t even try selling stuff in my communications with you.

He says, “Most of the other people I hear from are constantly trying to sell me on this, that and the other thing, yet you hardly ever do that Kevin.

How in the heck do you do so well for yourself when all you do is send me this really cool stuff”?

This was a great question, and I’ll be answering it for you within the next few days.

I’ll give you a little hint right now though – it’s called “selling-without-selling”.

Wisdom From My Wife

Monday, July 13th, 2009

On November 14th and 15th of last year, I hosted the first ever Ultimate Home Office Field Trip, right here at my home in Arlington, Washington.

10 people had invested $4,000.00 each, and had flown in from around the country to attend.

As you can imagine, they were expecting a life-changing weekend, and that’s exactly what they got.

By the time we’d finished the field trip, everyone agreed that they’d got their money’s worth – and a whole lot more.

Since that weekend, the attendees have gone on to accomplish incredible things and are experiencing great success in both their business and personal lives.

But…

Here’s the thing that’s so amazing.

On the 2nd day of the field trip, everyone was sitting in the living room of our home.

It was almost time for lunch, so my wife Lisa was in the kitchen right next door, putting the finishing touches on an incredible meal.

At this point during the event, someone had asked me what life was like for my family and I, prior to having the success we currently enjoy.

I was responding to this question in an extremely open and candid manner, sharing stories and experiences that until that point, I’d never shared with anyone else.

As Lisa heard me talking, she walks into the living room, with tears flowing down her face.

It was obvious that she too had something to add to the conversation.

For the next 30 minutes, everyone in the room was fixated on her, as she talked about what it was like to be married to a guy like me.

What it was like when we started on this journey.

How difficult it was for her to believe in me back then.

How other people would ridicule us for wanting to follow our dreams.

By the time she finished, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

Yes, everyone had clearly been moved by her words.

Everyone could relate to what she said.

And now, everyone had an entirely different perspective on what they’d been going through in their own lives.

After witnessing this, it made me realize that my wife Lisa has some incredible insight to offer you.

Since last November, I’ve been trying to talk her into sharing with YOU, just as she shared with the people in our home that day.

But, for whatever reason, she’s hesitant to do so.

She thinks no one would be interested in hearing her perspective.

That being said, you and I both know she’s wrong.

But as much as I tell her this, she needs to hear it from you.

That being the case, I’d like to ask you for a favor, and in return, I’m going to offer you something of incredible value.

If you’d like to hear from Lisa on video, just like you hear from me, I need you to let us know by posting your comments below.

I’ll then share your feedback with her and that will convince her that she’s got something valuable to offer you.

Being an entrepreneur is a challenge, and the fact is – if your spouse, significant other and close family members aren’t supporting you, it makes things much more difficult.

Lisa has a POWERFUL message for the people in your life who are closest to you, and when they hear it, your relationship with them is going to improve dramatically.

And in turn, you’re going to achieve your goals much faster than you ever thought possible.

So, post your comments below, and let’s get Lisa to come into the spotlight.

I can’t wait to introduce you to the love of my life.

Dedicated to your success,
Kevin Thompson

This Is Hilarious

Friday, July 10th, 2009

I’ll give you a heads up right now…

This has absolutely NOTHING to do with marketing, creating income, managing your business, or anything like that.

But…

It will make your day, and yes, it will make you laugh.

So check it out.

Yeah, I could have turned this into some kind of marketing lesson, and provided you with some more valuable content.

But life isn’t always about work.

You oghta know me well enough by now… to know that I enjoy life.

And this video gave me some enjoyment.

It’ll do the same for you too.

So enjoy.

Dedicated to your success.
