From the time we were children, we’ve been taught that we’re supposed to fit in.

That we’re supposed to conform.

That we’re supposed to do things a certain way.

And if we don’t…

Well, we feel like an outsider. Like something is wrong with us.

This is exactly how I felt for most of my childhood.

Truth be told, I felt this way for most of my life.

It was only a few years ago when I came to discover that this entire way of thinking is completely ridiculous.

We DON’T have to fit in, conform, or do things a certain way.

In fact – we were put on this earth to be magnificent and unique.

This is one of the BIGGEST secrets that’s been kept from us.

But…

In order for you to actually be magnificent and unique, you have to come to terms with, and accept who you are as a person.

You must be yourself, complete with your faults and quirks.

And…

You must be completely candid about them, rather than trying to hide them.

When you do so, and interesting thing happens.

People find themselves being attracted to you, and they can’t even put their finger on why.

They feel compelled to get involved in what you have to offer.

They get to see you for the person you really are. The person you were put on this earth to be.

And they LIKE that magnificent and unique person.

People are always asking me, “how can I have the kind of life you get to live”?

But deep down, they’re really asking, “how can I have a more happy, productive and fulfilling life”?

The way you make this happen is by simply being yourself.

Sure, there’s some strategy involved as well, when it comes to marketing yourself.

But that’s just “how to”, and I can give you all the “how to” that you’ll ever need.

When you think back to every time in your life, when you were open, candid and just being yourself, you’ll recall that good things came from it.

When you’re in this natural state, of you being you, only good can come from it.

As you’re reading this, and a specific event comes to mind for you, please do me the favor of sharing it.

Your words of wisdom can make all the difference in the world for anyone who has the opportunity to hear it.

You’ve probably asked yourself, on many occasions, “What’s my purpose? What am I supposed to be doing in this world? Why was I put on this earth?”

And the truth is, until we find a good answer, it seems like something is missing from our life.

I used to think that if I made it financially, I’d be on Cloud 9 and my life would be grand.

Problem was, once I got there, I still wasn’t happy.

So what went wrong?

It’s simple – I had success, without substance.

Sure, I had a successful business.

I was making a great income.

I was successful by most people’s standards.

Yet something was still missing.

After doing some serious soul searching, I decided to take out a pen and paper, so I could make a list of the things that I wanted to be true in my life.

Once I had this list, it became the blueprint I used to build the life I TRULY wanted.

Since doing this for myself, I’ve since shown countless others how to follow in my footsteps, yet it was only until recently that I discovered the real gravity of the work I’ve been doing.

And in the process, I’ve discovered that people are growing tired of all the crazy promises.

Promises of 4 hour work weeks.

Promises of overnight millions.

Promises of push button success.

Instead… they want something more meaningful.

Sure, they want to have a great income, but they also want to have a purpose behind that income.

They want to do something that’s fulfilling.

They want their life to be about something more than just making a buck.

They want a feeling of purpose in what they do.

And that’s what I’m all about…

Giving you that sense of purpose, and showing you why people will gladly compensate you, when you’re operating within that purpose.

I got an email from Perry Marshall the other day, and he was talking about an interesting thing that happened at one of his recent seminars.

One of the presenters wanted to walk the attendees through an exercise, so he asks them, “What is the WORST email subject line that you could possibly send to your customer”?

People started shouting…

“Nothing I told you to do last year actually works.”

“All my testimonials are fake.”

“The only thing I want is your money.”

Upon reading this, it really made me think… back to when I started my first business in 1996.

At that time in my life, money was my driving motivation.

That’s why I started my business in the first place – to make money.

But today, things are much different.

I’m motivated by the work I get to do, because it gives me an incredible sense of purpose and meaning in my life.

By sharing the experiences and discoveries that have shaped my life over the years, I get to make a huge and lasting impact on other people’s lives.

I can’t imagine doing anything, other than what I’m doing right now.

Yes, things have certainly changed since 1996, and the most interesting thing is the fact that once I took my focus off “the money”, and put it on what was REALLY important, the money just started to come in.

But as I look around at everything going on these days, I see that the majority of people are still focused on money.

This is true when it comes to business owners and consumers alike.

The reason they’re so focused on money is because they feel that they don’t have enough of it.

They feel that it’s lacking in their lives.

And it creates an interesting dynamic.

Many business owners become more determined to make a buck, and will do almost anything to make it happen, even if that means being dishonest.

At the same time, consumers become more and more skeptical, afraid to trust anyone.

It’s this distrust that causes people to lash out, even if their accusations are unfounded.

Case in point:

I just got an email the other day from someone calling me a fraud and a scam artist.

This person had found my website, browsed around a little bit, and came to this conclusion without ever getting to know me.

Such emails used to really bother me, but because I understand what’s happening, that’s no longer the case.

I know that not everyone is going to see eye-to-eye with me.

But when you do feel a connection, well, that’s when the magic starts to happen.

Because I’ll help you uncover the person that you were meant to be.

That authentic genuine person that you are at the core and center of yourself.

And I’ll help you discover what YOU were meant to be doing with your life, as a career, as a job, as a vocation, or what kind of business – that person who you really are, would be building.

And I’ll give you the tools to build that business.

So that instead of waking up in the morning, and saying “I’m going to work”, YOU wake up in the morning and say, “Another day of getting to be who I am”.

Which by the way, is what you do for a living.

You may have heard the incredible story of J-Mac, but you probably never saw this version.

For months after the incredible game, the media was showing us the footage of Jason playing the best (and only) game of his life.

What this feat so impressive was the fact that Jason had been diagnosed with autism when he was only 2 years old.

But…

All that being said, I had to show you this video, because it shows Jason in an entirely different light.

As you watch it, imagine yourself in the same position.

Imagine yourself preparing for your big day.

How many people’s lives could you touch?

How much of a difference could you make in this world?

How great would that make you feel?

And when the video’s finished, make a commitment to yourself to take the next step.

Because the fact is – if you’ve got an idea that you’re passionate about, I can show you how to make it a reality.

Seeing a video like this makes you feel a certain way.

But when you’re living life like this on a daily basis, that feeling is there all the time.

And guess what…

Getting compensated EXTREMELY well, is a byproduct of living life this way.

I filmed this short little clip of my 2-year old son Brock last night.

And though it’s hilarious, it also packs quite a lesson.

I was letting him water the plants around our front porch, but it was starting to get late, and I knew that I still needed to get him ready for bed.

So…

While he was facing the other way, I turned the water off.

The video shows what happened next.

Brock immediately goes to work, trying to figure out how to correct the situation.

You’ll even see him walk over to the water faucet, and try to turn it back on.

And though he didn’t figure it out last night (while I was recording this video), he went back out on the front porch this morning, and discovered how to turn the water on.

In short, that’s what I call “Passionate Problem Solving”.

Brock was determined to figure something out, and he didn’t stop until he’d done so.

To be successful at anything, we must possess this same tenacity.

That’s why I always tell my clients that they’ve got to build a business around something that they’re passionate about.

Something they love so much, that they wouldn’t mind doing it for nuthin.

Because here’s the deal…

When you’re that passionate about something, there’s nothing that can stop you from being successful.

Absolutely NOTHING.

So what are you passionate about?

I want you to give that question some serious thought.

Because the fact is, if you’ve got the passion, I’ve got the “how to” and can show you how to turn that passion into a lifestyle-business that compensates you more than you ever imagined… for doing what you LOVE.
