Wednesday was the first day of spring.
Don’t know about you, but here in Washington, it don’t seem much like spring yet.
But…
We did get a taste of it on Wednesday, when the sun decided to show itself for a few hours.
That being the case, my oldest son Jerry decided to take advantage of the nice weather, and wash his car.
Now – one of our dogs – a large border collie named Coda, loves to be outside when Jerry washes his car.
To be more precise, he LOVES to play in the water.
When I was heading out the door on Wednesday, Coda nearly bowled me over as he shoved the door wide open on his way outside.
It was as if he knew Jerry was washing the car.
He races out to the driveway, and immediately begins attacking the water hose.
As I stood there watching, I couldn’t help but laugh.
It was so entertaining that I decided to grab the camera, so I could take a couple photos to share with you.

Seeing Coda have so much fun was contagious.
As I was snapping photos, I began thinking to myself, “Isn’t this what life is all about”?
In fact, my whole life (and my business), is all about having fun.
And it pains me to know that so many folks never take time out for fun.
They go through each day, doing what they do – working, running, hurrying and trying to keep up with everything that’s going on in their hectic lives.
And yes, in case you’re wondering, I used to do the same thing.
But…
Now things are different.
Now things are WAY different.
In fact, there’s 5 guiding principles that I now live my entire life by.
Because 2 of them bear directly on this conversation, I’m going to share them with you here.
1. I have fun with EVERYTHING I do.
2. I spend my time with inspirational and motivating people.
As I said, my entire life revolves around 5 guiding principles, and the 2 that I just shared with you are very important to me.
It doesn’t matter whether we’re talking about my personal life, or my business life.
But, to be honest, there’s not a big difference between the two.
Personal or business – it’s simply my life, and I want to have fun with ALL of it.
This is also one of the biggest things I teach my clients – how to have fun in their lives.
How to have LOTS of fun… TODAY.
Too many people put off having fun for someday later, off in the distant future.
They think to themselves, “I’ll work hard now, so I can enjoy myself later”.
Only problem is, “later” never comes.
I’m here to tell you – you’ve gotta have fun NOW.
You’ve gotta have fun with your work.
You’ve gotta have fun in your personal life.
You’ve gotta have fun with ALL of it.
I mean really…
