One of the things I’ve been teaching for years…
If you want to have a successful business, you MUST give people what they already want to buy.
And it’s even better when you can have a mostly automated system that gives people what they already want to buy.
That’s what attracted me to the internet in the first place, and motivated me to start my first website (GetMoldSolutions.com) back in 2000.
I’m now going to give you another great example of this principle.
And like it or not, agree with it or not – there’s no disputing the fact that tattoo parlors are in the market of giving people what they want to buy.
Personally, I have no desire to ever get a tattoo, but that doesn’t change the fact that the FDA estimates 45-million Americans have at least one tattoo.
I was reading an article in a recent Glazier-Kennedy Newsletter that revealed even more interesting statistics.
Tattooing has NEVER been stopped… by any economic conditions.
People will pay for tattoos by layaway, saving money with the tattoo artist, until they’ve got enough to get the artwork they want.
People will even use unemployment checks, child support and grocery money to pay for tattoos.
Tattooing has become so mainstream, that it now has its own television reality show – Miami Ink.
There’s a HUGE lesson here, and like I said earlier, it’s one I’ve been teaching for years.
You’ve got to structure your business, so that it gives people what they already want to buy.
Contrary to popular belief, we are NOT in the business of “selling” products and services.
Take my mold website (www.GetMoldSolutions.com) as another example.
It’s not glamorous. In fact, it’s a downright ugly website.
But make no mistake about it… that website has been designed to give people what they already want to buy.
Can you see how it does so?
Take your best guess, and post your comments below.
The first person who answers correctly is going to get something REALLY special from me.
Dedicated to your success,

It is because you are answering the questions they are asking and/or answering the concerns they have before they even know a product exists.
Your website title tells the buyer EXACTLY what you can do for them
http://www.GetMoldSolutions.com smells very bad of “CREDIBILITY”!
They want a solution they can trust in – to know that what you offer’ll do the job. You give them free reports, access to you (teleconference) and testimonials to build that trust, along with ethical references. And straightforward easy to find buying links. No fluff, just the solution they want.
That’s my guess anyway.
Kevin,I think people that go to your website would most likely have a mold problem. You are giving them information to help them solve their mold problems.Hence they want to buy their solution from you. Ron
Because the web site is very simple and straightforward, only those who are interested read it. It doesn’t have “bells and whistles” to attract casual observers. The advertising also leads only those interested to the site in the first place.
Hi Kevin,
I guess it’s about your old motto:
Find a problem and solve it.
That’s what I’m doing at http://www.achillestreatment.n.nu.
What do you think?
Best!

Pretty simple Kevin..people see a “tattoo palor” they go in, cause thats what they want, a tattoo. People see “GetMoldSolutions.com” they get to clicking that link, cause thats what they want, a solution to the mold in their basement, bathrooom where ever it may be. They want it gone, and you give them solutions to do exactly that.
attracts attention why you need this and tells what benefit is for you, contact info on how you can obtain info and benefit
Your’re 100% correct Kevin, which reinforces the marketing concept of “Appeal to the masses and sleep with the classes”!
Hi Kevin,
You are so right about sellng something people already want to buy . We buy to solve our own problems , we want to know what your product can do for me. If you want to get rid of mold, improve your health and you want someone to do all the legwork of investigating- someone you perceive as the expert, and you go to your website – you have found what you are looking to buy already. A great solution that willl help you now.

Hope, Something free, truth, a chance to get back at the bad guys
Your site provides valuable free information and builds your credibility with your target customers, creating trust and essentially pre-selling them to buy future offers from you from the list you build.
Simple Kevin…..Your HONESTY and INTEGRITY!
People coming to your site already know they have a problem and are looking for a solution. You are telling them you are the expert in the field of black mold.
Black Mold! A subject very common to all people. Who does not want to have a safe place for their family, or have good health. To me that is the eye opener and they want to see what you have to offer. Get under the skin and they will pay attention.
Keith
It’s simple, direct to the point. Its exactly what they want with the answers to the questions they have and with the trust appeal they need to have a lasting relationship with you for furthur business.
They need a mold solution, they believe in you, they buy the product. No bag of smoke
comes in the mail, just a mold solution. Plain and simple!
You offer the solution to the problem of many persons.
You have the content which is the most interesting to
the people.
When people enter to any site they don’t interested in
beatiful graphic and impresive flash, the are looking after
a content about their problem and the solution to this problem.
Hi Kevin,
I am with you on the tattoos I personally don’t like them and would never get one! But to each his own I say!
Wow you have a lot of stuff on your website. Free Report, Free Newsletters,
Hepa Vacuum cleaners, all of your favorite Rolodex of Suppliers, and I noticed Ads by Google. other areas of Interest, Class Action Law Firm, Asbestos of which I am familiar with but most people are not. And of course all of the information on Black Mold and the products you recommend,All of the items tie in with your own site, plus your site shows credibility. I believe you get some commissions from Google…some of the things I would like to do on my Breast Cancer Site.
It builds peoples trust and gives them a simple solution to their problems. Even though your mold website only solves a few problems, the problems it solves are very important to the people who need the service or product.
Kevin,
I believe that people are looking for a “Soilution” to their problem. The very name of your webiste is “Get Mold Solutions”. The word ‘Solutions’ is in the name of your webiste! This is exactly what they are looking for.
This hits their hot button immediately.
Thank you.
I’m web creator of NCCheckers.org I have a business and thinking about a website for it. I use yellow pages to generate business and word of mouth (satisfied customers) but expensive phone ads / actual customer calls have become too expensive. Need something else.
You ask so here goes: Simple and to the point so person can get a solution. Your Domain Name will generate hits, plus I’m sure you use other techniques(search engines with key words, link, and backlinks)so internet customer or suffer will find what they want quickly, but most of all, your site is sharing with other mold experts, Im sure you can’t cover the locations for all the hits you generate so you set up others to service them. You multiplied yourself. That’s the secret to making money. You also hook others into using your website success marketing program which has cause me to sniffing around for 9 months and now convinced your are real.
Hi Kevin,
Your GetMoldSolutions site channels the viewers focus to areas they are most interested in, educating them in the process to help them understand the options. It then encourages the viewer to take further action to satisfy their curiosity and find the answers they are looking for, at the same time offering the trusted products that you have suggested that will best serve their purposes. As soon as they take enough action, they buy what they are looking for and of course you make money.
by having links to information that they already want to inquire about they will buy from one of those links.
Quite simply people are looking for a solution to their mold problem and this site is offering the answers/solutions. It’s like one-stop shopping…and everybody wins!
No frills, straight to the point
you are drawing people to problems there were not aware of and you’re selling the solution.
You give visiters to your site the solution they are looking for in the headline that is at the top of the page in a box.
“Showing You How To Get Rid Of Dangerous Black Mold And Create A Safe Home For Your Family… Almost Overnight!”
They want their family to be safe and they want it now. Great marketing!!
Thanks,
Tom Guillot
Well, it’s got all the answers on “Mold”, black mold. It doesn’t go off on any other topic of interest to sway the seeker from leaving the site, so therefore, hopefully, if the seeker has mold problems they will spend money to fix their problem, and hopefully they will buy the products listed from the site, etc.
So it’s all in the name: MOLD and nothing other than mold, lol…

I see 2 ways you give people what they already want to buy.
1) You give them a FREE Report/ teleseminar option to find out more automatically. This is an A/B Alternative choice close.
2) Beyond that, your website are client driven, meaning you match what you offer to what they tell you they need. Being clinet driven sounds so obvious, but I can tell you from working with thousands of small businesses, most business owner make the mistake of giving them what the thinks they need instead of giving them what they ask for. Businesses need to ask, then listen.
On my squeeze pages for my websites, I always ask a question about their biggest challenge having to do with that site. Then I see what their 5 biggest challenges are, and in what order. Then I make special offers in the autoresponder emails that solve the top 5 problems visitors have told me they experience.
When you do this, you are out marketing 99.9% of your competition AND giving your clients exactly what they most ardently desire.
My friends don’t have time to waste surfing the web; they use the web to research topics of interest and solutions to problems, information! Your site is easy to find for someone looking for answers; through building credibility and trust(relationship) you get them to buy the solutions they were looking for in the first place. If I didn’t need help with a mold problem I wouldn’t be researching mold “solutions”.
Hope to catch up soon.
