What’s Your Purpose?

You’ve probably asked yourself, on many occasions, “What’s my purpose? What am I supposed to be doing in this world? Why was I put on this earth?”

And the truth is, until we find a good answer, it seems like something is missing from our life.

I used to think that if I made it financially, I’d be on Cloud 9 and my life would be grand.

Problem was, once I got there, I still wasn’t happy.

So what went wrong?

It’s simple – I had success, without substance.

Sure, I had a successful business.

I was making a great income.

I was successful by most people’s standards.

Yet something was still missing.

After doing some serious soul searching, I decided to take out a pen and paper, so I could make a list of the things that I wanted to be true in my life.

Once I had this list, it became the blueprint I used to build the life I TRULY wanted.

Since doing this for myself, I’ve since shown countless others how to follow in my footsteps, yet it was only until recently that I discovered the real gravity of the work I’ve been doing.

And in the process, I’ve discovered that people are growing tired of all the crazy promises.

Promises of 4 hour work weeks.

Promises of overnight millions.

Promises of push button success.

Instead… they want something more meaningful.

Sure, they want to have a great income, but they also want to have a purpose behind that income.

They want to do something that’s fulfilling.

They want their life to be about something more than just making a buck.

They want a feeling of purpose in what they do.

And that’s what I’m all about…

Giving you that sense of purpose, and showing you why people will gladly compensate you, when you’re operating within that purpose.

Dedicated to your success,
Kevin Thompson

    Hi Kevin,

I believe my purpose is service inspired, even when working for a Corporation, I would get great self satisfaction and a feel good feeling, when I gave people what they needed from me and my staff and I knew when they said thank you they really meant it…that made my days, even though they were long and hard days most of the time and I discussed this often with my staff and they realized the same feelings. When they did, I patted them on the back, because we were a service oriented Section of the Corporation. I hired and kept people that thought the same way as I did, and my boss wondered how we did it with such busy days.

I still want to give people information they need and I will do some of the work to make sure that they are pleased with what I have to offer.

I believe my purpose is service orientated, if it is in contracts, writing, my hobby sewing or decorating…administration, whatever, I always want to make people happy with what I present to them.

  4. Maria Majas says:

    Hi,

Our main purpose in life should be to love our Lord with all our heart, mind, and soul. So, we need to get to know him, love him and serve him. This can help many people with depression. How do we do that? Start reading your bibles or get a copy of one. These words are truth and we will find God taking to us.

Without God our lives can seem impossible at times. Everthing else will follow.

  5. Larry says:

Wonderful thoughts Kevin. These can certainly keep one centered and focused, not distracted by success and all of the bright shiny objects that come with it.
If your purpose is to help other people while helping yourself, people should be able to see that and possibly trust you more.

    Kevin,
This is very deep and I resonate very much with your story. I found myself in the same situation after I attained my career goals and then began my beautiful family I still felt a void in my life. I really did not know what it was. I was very grateful for the abundant wonderful life my family enjoyed but I had a hunger for something I could not put my hands on. Luckily through personal development and reading some great books I found a path to my purpose in life to helping others. Since then I have found everything in my life has improved. Even though I spend time pursuing my purpose my marriage and family life becomes better and better as time passes.

It is a gift to discover we all need a purpose but unwrapping the gift by pursuing your purpose is the fulfilling part! I appreciate all that you do!

When I was younger, I was fearless and full of hope, I used to help my mother, my mentally
retarded sister (Dawn Syndrome) and as many people as could. I tell my children and nieces that there is nothing more rewarding then putting a smile in people’s faces. Having love and compassion in our hearts makes us closer to God and to every living being, Oh, what a great filling that is!
Lately though, it’s horrible depressing not been able to help my mother (77 years old, totally deaf and suffering from Parkinson’s) and telling my 55 year old sister, who’s mentally only 5 years old and also with Parkinson’s that I can’t do the things I used to for them. It breakes my heart seen how she always encourages and understands me to go on, in those moments more then others I hate to be so broke. How did I get here? how
did I loose my house, car and what little money I had? The economy? destiny?
I don’t want to end like this, I don’t want to be kicked out of every apartment for not being able to pay, every month is an struggle to get the energy bill paid or car paymment or…
I’m so tired of living this kind of life, I wonder why? What did I do so wrong? and what can I do to change it besides praying, meditate and learn everything about the laws of attraction.
I’m 53 years old, I work as a waitress in a nice buffet in Las Vegas, the money sometimes
it’s good and some other not so good, I want to have a part time job but, what? if at the
end of my shift I can hardly walk to my car. Every time I go online and buy one of those
money making systems, I get scammed.
I know that God said; help your self and I will help you (something like that)but, how?
I pray, I do my taxes, what am I missing here?
Please, can anybody help me by telling me how to make some extra money online?
Does anybody know a good and honest website that offers home work opportunities?
I appreciate so much your attention and sincere advise.
    God Bless you all.
    Virginia.

If I can ever get my feet on the ground and get a decent start I know what my purpose is and what I’m put on this earth to do,however it’s not easy getting started, but I still got (Hope)and I have to have(Faith)and you must have (Love)and as long as you got these life will get better and with a good purpose.

    Hi Kevin
I know and feel at times the same way as in the steps you wrote this, I have a good paying job can go many places but no fun going by yourself sure if I pay they will come but only if…so to me having money is great but yes there is that reason behind it too. you want to succeed great but for what every ones different what they are longing for, i hope to find my soon also its why I am buying this blueprint lifestyle you have so I can learn what mine is to help others to find theirs.

  13. Ursula Nieuwoudt says:

Hi Kevin, if we could find a way to work together, help each other get going, find success together, it would take half the time in order for more of us to be in a position to have enough time and money to take of our families, as well as then take care of others. Even if each of us just helped one other online to make it, that person then has to promise and commit to gift it onward, the best kind of big brother. There are literally millions of people who have nothing, and need urgent help. The rich can look after themselves, but who have the poor got? Us, people like you and me. But currently it appears that those millions are looking for an answer, each as desperate and frantic as the other, each quite alone, not knowing the answers on what to do, where to go, who to ask, what will work, how to pay the bills, how to feed the family. Would it not make the greatest sense to consolidate processes and programs? Enjoy your day, Ursula

I know what you mean about needing a purpose. Mine has always been to help others, in some way. Unless we know and make progress towards out goals, we are never going to be really happy. I know what my two purposes seem to be, and it seems I will be able to fill only one of them. :-(

    Hi Kevin,

I have been fortunate enough to build great teams at work, but they are not focused in the area of my greatest interests of optimum health and longevity. I look forward to working with you Kevin to develop ways of sharing the information that I have gained and have been living to fulfill my greatest purpose of showing how easy it is for others to move closer to a more optimum, healthier, longer life.
Thank you Kevin for your continued support and encouragement.
