Tomorrow represents the big day – the day when we elect a new president.

But, no matter who gets voted into office, a large percentage of the population is not going to be happy.

Why?

Because their candidate wasn’t elected.

Personally, I get tired of all the promises from both sides – talking about how they’re going to make us happier, healthier and more secure.

Because the fact is, neither of them will.

That’s right, neither Obama nor McCain is gonna make you happier, healthier or more secure.

The one thing I’ve learned is that we can’t place our hope in politicians.

The ONLY person you can place hope in is YOU.

When we look back, history proves this to be true – over, and over, and over again.

Every successful person on the face of the planet has done for themselves.

They had their own dreams.

They took action on those dreams.

They turned those dreams into a reality, and made a fortune in the process.

Even during the Great Depression, there were many who had dreams, took action and prospered.

They did not concern themselves with what was going on in the media.

Instead, their strength came from inside.

They had a belief in themselves, and it’s that belief that paved the way to their success.

If you want to do the same, then follow my lead.

Turn the boob tube OFF, and change the source of your input.

For me, I haven’t watched television in months.

Instead, I spent my time listening to, brainstorming and communicating with forward thinking people who have a powerful belief in themselves, as well as those around them.

Is it any wonder that 2008 will be my best year… EVER.

Of course not.

And the funny thing is…

In the circles I spend my time, success stories like this are the order of the day.

Tons of people are having their best year ever.

And you my friend can do the same.

When you tune out the media garbage, and fill your life with something of substance, you’ll be amazed at what happens.
