What If Today Was Your Last

My good friend Dan recently shared this video with me.

After watching it, I immediately gave thanks for all the good things in my life.

It’s funny how we can take those things for granted, especially when we get wrapped up in our day to day activities.

As Jimmy says, any day we get to laugh, think and cry – is a GREAT day.

I hope this video inspires you to think big, take action, and go make a difference in people’s lives.

Because the fact is, you can do it.

People need what you have to offer.

After watching this video, I challenge you to post a reply and answer this question…

What if today were your last day to live – What would your day look like?

I look forward to hearing back from you.

Every moment we have is significant.

Dedicated to your success,

  1. I’m pretty sure I would try to thank the people that influenced me the most if they were still around, I would definately give thanks for all the good and bad I endured over my life and be thankful I made it this far. I also think that I would do something that I have always enjoyed and relax and pray.

Acknowledge perhaps this day, is the last page in the book, ask the father above to welcome me home. give blessings to all those one has loved, and shared the journey with.
Ask those we have loved to be there to greet me as I journey into the light.

If today were my last day to live then I would close my house, and fly to Ontario Canada and be with my youngest daughter and phone everyone else I love to say I love them and say my farewells. Then in the early afternoon I would fly to NY to be with my best friend and spend the remaining hours.

My father worked at The Pocono Invitational Basketball Camp with Jimmy V. back when V was coaching at Iona. My father came home and said he met a Coach who would do great things one day. A few years later when V was at NC State he made my father a prophet.

His words remind me of a saying I try to live my life,

“In order to love with all your heart; you must be able to cry with all your soul.”

If I knew today would be my last day I would contact people I love and express my appreciation. I would give some financial advice for the future to my wife and sign any legal papers required to simplify arrangements. Yes, I would cry and laugh and pray. I would thank God for the salvation He has provided through Jesus Christ. I would encourage my family to be faithful to God. I would read from the Bible to review my relationship to
God. I would also seek to share Christ with those who do not know Him personally. I would think about what really matters after I am gone. I would thank God for the life He has given me and humbly and peacefully give it back to Him

If today were my last day…I think is the most powerful question on the planet!! Thank you Kevin for asking it and reminding me how grateful I am for all that I have. You have helped me reaffirm that I am following my passion and that I have no regrets in that. You have reminded me that I am living my life full out where as just a couple of years ago I was just existing. I would also like to thank you for reminding me that the little crap that we sometimes deal with each day is just simply not worth stressing over when we look at the bigger picture. I laughed, I became thoughtful and I cried when I watched this video and read your post. So thank you so much Kevin for a good day!!

    Thank you!!
